Reflection of A Lesson before dying

The ending of the book A lesson before dying was really sad. The day that Jefferson is going to b executed is revealed. Grant faces many more trial and tribulations than ever before. Even to the point were he is involved in an altercation at the Rainbow club. On his many trips to the prison to visit Jefferson he could never get him to talk but thing started changing Jefferson started opening up more. Even though Grant was sent to teach Jefferson but it was Grant was needed help from Jefferson. Grant was a true man of his word even though time after time, he wanted to give up and stop going to visit Jefferson.
                     The final chapters were really heart felt, because the it was the day the nobody in town was ready for. Jefferson's execution no one truly knew how to feel. An innocent person is facing his last day on earth for something he did not do. There are many things us as readers can take from this book. Like follow your first mind, never feed into other people's business, and help those who are willing and want to help themselves. A lesson before dying was a great book with a lot of great messages throughout.
