Sharing the load with Washington Trail Association

Throughout this article it talks a lot about the people and organizations that contributed to the PCT. In this article is tells you a lot bout the people that were dedicated to the Pacific Crest Trail. Louise Marshall was one of those people. She played a key roll in helping the organization better is drives and values. Marshall became the PCT conference executive director in 1990. The WTA was like a partner to the PCT because they improved each other. WTA also had many contributors such as Ira Spring, Greg Ball, and Elizabeth Lunney were key parts of the organization. This article talks a lot about how the organization work together to improve upon themselves, and gave credit to those people that helped along the way. The trail also became more appealing to the youth. Now more than 42% of the organizations volunteers range from the age 14 to 18 years old. The Mission of the Pacific Crest Trail Association is to protect, preserve and promote the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail as a world-class experience for hikers and equestrians, and for all the values provide by wild and scenic lands. Something's I learned from this article was that Louise Marshall played a key roll in the organization. I also learned that it take a lot of effort and time to make something great.
